We understand that any surgical procedure can be worrisome, so at the Center for Specialty Surgery of Austin we strive to provide a patient-focused and compassionate environment for all our patients. We put patient comfort first in all of our outpatient procedures.

Have some Questions?

All patients will receive a pre-operative phone call 24-48 hours prior to their surgery. The nurse will go over all of the pre-operative instructions and address any questions you may have. On the day of the surgery please be sure to bring a valid insurance card and a picture ID.

We respect our patients’ values and dignity and commit to provide you with the highest quality healthcare during your outpatient procedure. Austin Midtown Ambulatory Surgical Center observes and respects a patient’s rights and responsibilities without regard to age, race, color, sex, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, personal values or belief systems.

Living wills and other advance directives are written, legal instructions regarding your preferences for medical care if you are unable to make decisions for yourself. With any medical procedure, it is always beneficial to prepare your advance directives to be sure your loved ones make health choices according to your wishes.

All patients will receive post-operative instructions the day of the surgery. The nurse will go over the discharge instructions with you and address any questions you may have. You will also receive a post-op follow up call.
